Parent Representative

Cathy Dirksen is the Director of Communications and Development for SEEC, a nonprofit agency providing support and services to children and adults with development disabilities. Previously, Cathy held positions with the Autism Society of America and the Maryland Developmental Disabilities Council. She served a co-president of the Montgomery County Autism Society and as a parent mentor for the Montgomery County Infants and Toddlers Program She is also the founder of STEP Seminars, an organization that provides workshops to parents of children with special needs. Her son has been a KEEN athlete for more than five years.
