Daryl Nickel became involved with KEEN in 1994 when his daughter Kathy, then a high school sophomore, recruited both Daryl and his wife Sondra to join her as a KEEN volunteer. He has been an active supporter of KEEN since and joined the KEEN Greater D C Board of Directors in 2004.

Daryl is an attorney and Executive Vice President, Lodging Development, of Marriott International. For over ten years, Marriott International has been a major sponsor of the KEEN Golf Classic conducted by KEEN Greater DC.
